The original 12C church has been repaired and rebuilt throughout its history, eventually damaged beyond repair during WWII. It was transformed into a tranquility garden, surrounded by the original walls, and now again, by my artistic intervention. My photograph is printed on velvet onto which shards of iridescent glass are sewn with golden thread in reference to the fragility and history of this edifice.
