The theme of Artistic Intelligence suggested by ArtCan for one of our exhibitions has inspired me to explore the idea of ‘analogue’ verses ‘digital’ and encouraged experimentation and discourse. ‘A brain full of ideas’ alludes to that process. It is a mixed media collage that expresses the human sensory experience- it is tactile in its nature as a layered collage and by the use of paper I had textured, the notations can provide music, the sense of smell derives from large dots of spices, and the overall is a celebration of the visual sense, all orchestrated by our brain. The work involves a multiple of media including painting, printing and stitching into paper.
